Each apartment is a complete, private unit, featuring a bedroom, living room, and kitchenette. The kitchen area is furnished with a frost-free refrigerator, 2-burner electric range, and a microwave oven – everything necessary for our residents to enjoy private meals. The spacious bathroom is comfortable as well as safety-enhanced, with a sit-down shower and safety grab bars. In addition to features such as wall-to-wall carpeting and ample closet space, residents may wish to add optional satellite cable TV service. Safety and peace of mind are important to us – each apartment is outfitted with smoke detectors, a fire sprinkler system, and a state-of-the-art Personal Emergency Response System that connects each resident to a 24-hour monitoring office.

While preparing private meals is always an option, residents will likely prefer to visit our fantastic full-service dining room. This spacious community area offers a gracious and social atmosphere, where seniors enjoy meeting one another and sharing a good laugh or discussion over a choice-of-the-menu meal. Dowling Gardens is proud to have Daniel Semenza, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, on staff as the Executive Chef. Daniel has worked at several popular area restaurants and has been at Dowling Gardens since our Grand Opening in 1996.

All of these fine amenities and services are accented by the landscaped grounds on the property. The cozy, park-like surroundings have been carefully landscaped to create a peaceful and serene outdoor environment for our residents and guests to enjoy.
