Monthly fees paid by residents for rent and services are the primary source of revenue needed to operate and maintain Dowling Gardens. Careful budgeting and financial oversight is necessary to continue our mission of providing quality care to older persons at an affordable price.

To support the programs and amenities that add so much to the daily life of our residents, Dowling Gardens has established a Special Projects Fund. Contributions received from donors together with occasional local grants are placed in a Special Projects Fund. This fund underwrites the cost of our large print library, parties, the upkeep of our outdoor gardens, concert and lecture fees, as well as yoga and Tai Chia sessions. Special Projects Funds are providing the money for an enhanced sound system in our main floor lounges and Dining Room. Another successful Special Projects Fund is the purchase of iPads and other electronic equipment for small group activities.

Contributions to the Special Projects are always welcome and are used exclusively for the benefit of our residents.

Donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law and should be made payable to: DOWLING HOUSING CORP.
